BlackJack is a popular card game in which the player attempts to get closer than the dealer to a total card value of 21 without going over (busting). In play if the player busts, the dealer wins his bet even if the dealer later busts. This provides the house advantage which the dealer uses to make money. Blackjack is not purely a game of chance, but the player has the opportunity to greatly improve his chances by playing well. However, even if the player plays perfectly, the house still holds a small advantage.
