Free Online Card Games
Play the old versions
I'm working on a major overhaul of my card games web site. Right now the games that have been reskinned are primarily the solitaire card games. I will eventually get to the games like Hearts, Euchre, Spades, etc, but for the moment I'm doing the new skins on the games it's fastest to do them on. I'm also going to eventually change all the pages to the new website layout, but for the moment it's primarily going to be just the pages with the new skins.
I'm still keeping all the old versions available. Right now most have the old site design. As always, feel free to let me know what you think with the Suggest Improvement page.

Reply from Rick: I might do a Crazy 8's game... that's pretty much the same game. I believe Uno is a trademarked game. I need to add more card games, as well as fix up the ones I have.

What I said about using the same colors, you can put a black 6 on a black 7.

What were the suits you were placing?

i love your games, but would like to turn off the sound for the game so i can listen to my own music while playing. How can I do this? I have looked and looked and can't find it. Please advise.
Reply from Rick: There's a little sound icon in the bottom left of the game screen. If you click it, it will put a red x over the icon and turn the sound off.

Reply from Rick: I'm not sure I know what you mean. Every version of Klondike I've ever seen requires you to alternate color... but maybe I'm not understanding your post.

I like the game like the old one where you can put same colors on top of each other.
Reply from Rick: I'm not sure what version you are referring to. Klondike always requires you to alternate colors. Yukon only requires that you alternate suit, but that's a different game. There are some other games that don't take suit into account, but Klondike pretty much always does.

On the euchre card game, the partner of the player continually over-trumps his partner's Ace or his partner's guaranteed winning trump card. For instance, say spades is trump, and the ace of hearts is lead out by the computer player to his left (it always goes clockwise), making the my computer partner across from me the last to play. It is now my turn and I do not have any hearts, so I trump the opponents' ace of hearts with my whatever of spades. Then the other computer player plays a heart, meaning that the trick is mine, GUARANTEED. Then, my computer partner trumps my winning trick with a higher trump card, and usually with the highest trump card it has, effectively wasting my trump or ace! Then, to add insult to injury, it will lead with some off-trump suit...when he could have thrown that same card as a 'throw off'! Also, the same thing will happen when it trump my ace, which is also a cardinal rule of good euchre playing. FRUSTRATING. I d

I've been getting a lot of complaints about the games AI partner player. It's something I plan on working on as soon as I get a chance. I realize it makes some stupid moves and I apologize for that. Hopefully I'll get a chance to make it better soon.

I'm a little worn down at the moment, but I'm trying to think of ways to make things better. Unfortunately I can't just go back to the old site design for a lot of reasons (many of them technical).
