iCardGames.com has a huge collection of over 100 card games in a variety of different Genres. Below is a subset of the games on this site. For more games, see our full list of card games.

Trick Taking Card Games

In all trick taking card games, each hand is centered around a series of rounds which are called "tricks". In most of these card games, the goal is to win as many tricks as possible. There are some exceptions to this, such as in hearts where the goal is to win as few tricks as you can. Many of these games have a trump suit, which will win a trick over any non-trump card, and can only lose to another trump card.

  • Hearts - A reverse trick taking game where your goal is to score as few points as possible.
  • Spades - Spades are trump, with Jack of Spades and Jack of Clubs as bauers.
  • Euchre - Reduced deck game, where players choose trump after deal.
  • Solitaire Card Games

The Solitaire or Patience family of card games are designed to be played alone. These card games come in many varieties. Many people will be familar with some of the classics such as Klondike or Freecell where the player builds up a series of foundations from a tableau. There are column based card games such as Spider, Spiderette, or Scorpion where the player's goal is to create columns of cards. There are discarding games such as Golf, and matching card games such as Pyramid.

Here are a few of our single player card games:

    • Freecell - One of the worlds most popular card games.
    • Pyramid - Matching card game where the player attempts to pair cards with a total value of 13.
    • Golf - Discarding card game, where you remove as many cards as you can from play.
    • Gaps - Row sorting card game, played by moving cards into one of 4 gaps.
    • Fortress - A ten pile foundation building card game.
    • Forty Thieves - A massive pile based card game played with two decks of cards.
    • Scorpion - A single deck, suit dependent, column based sorting card game.
    • Spider - A two deck, suit independent, column based sorting game (ignore suit).
    • Spiderette - A single deck version of Spider Solitaire for faster play.
    • Video Poker

Note: Video Poker games are still Flash only

Video Poker is a popular version of poker that can be played by yourself. The goal of the game is to try to get the best possible hand. You get points based on how the cards in your hand match up with a pay table that's defined by the specific video poker game. Some of the games give higher bonuses for Aces, or face cards. Some of them have wild cards such as Deuces Wild.

Here are a few of our video poker card games:

      • Jacks or Better - A traditional version of video poker.
      • Deuces Wild - 2s are wild cards in this version of video poker.
      • Bonus Poker - Similar to Jacks are better but with a higher payout for more valuable card hands.
      • Amazing Aces - Similar to Jacks or Better and Bonus Poker, but with bonus points for 4 Aces.
      • Poker Slots - Combines video poker and a slot machine for loads of fun.
      • 50 Hand Poker - The cards get pretty tiny in this version. Lots and lots of card hands at once.
      • Casino Card Games

Note: Casino Card Games are currently flash only

        • Blackjack - Play to get as close as you can to 21 without going over.
        • Caribbean Stud Poker - Similar to 5 card stud, but played against a dealer with no bluffing.
        • Casino War - A modified version of the child's card game war.
